Description:You mentioned before that you felt that Bea would never have identified as queer at all, and I agree, and the writers and producers allowing her to fall in love with a woman was a big step in the lesbian, bisexual and queer women representation we are seeing these days. What was it like for you coming in to such an established and well-loved show with, as you said, such passionate fans? I read that right until the very end you didn't know this was going to happen. So there was a lot of excitement about that. I learnt a good lesson, which is always listen to your director, because I was looking at it too logically!
